Dell and Stephen Curry both made names for themselves as sharp-shooting guards, with Stephen surpassing his father to become one of the most prolific scorers in NBA history. And who could forget Joe “Jellybean” Bryant and his son Kobe, the latter of whom went on to win five championships and cement his status as a Lakers legend?

Football, too, has seen its share of remarkable father-son duos. Perhaps the most famous is the Manning family, with father Archie and sons Peyton and Eli all enjoying successful NFL careers. Peyton, in particular, rewrote the record books, becoming the NFL’s all-time leader in passing yards and touchdowns.
Another notable family is the Matthews clan, with father Clay Jr. and sons Clay III and Casey all making their mark on the gridiron. Clay III, a six-time Pro Bowler, helped lead the Packers to a Super Bowl title in 2010.
