In the co-main event, Zhang Weili retained her women’s strawweight title with a unanimous decision win over previously unbeaten Tatiana Suarez. Scores were 49-46, 49-46, and 48-47 for the champion.
Zhang’s striking and cardio proved to be the difference over five hard-fought rounds. Suarez, fighting for just the fourth time since 2019 due to injury, had success with her wrestling but faded late. Zhang picked apart Suarez on the feet in the championship rounds to solidify her victory.
