Top NFL Draft Prospects: Ranking the Best of 2025

As the 2024 college football regular season comes to a close, it’s time to turn our attention to the next crop of NFL superstars. The 2025 draft class is already generating plenty of buzz, with scouts raving about the elite talent on both sides of the ball. To get a jumpstart on the pre-draft process, I’ve put together my updated big board ranking the top 25 prospects in the 2025 class.

Ranking the Top 25 2025 NFL Draft Prospects

1. Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado

Hunter has been a revelation this season, dominating on both offense and defense. The 6’1″ playmaker ranks seventh in the FBS with 1,036 receiving yards while snagging three interceptions on D. Many scouts believe Hunter has the talent to be a true two-way player in the NFL, a rarity in today’s specialized game. His ceiling is as high as any prospect we’ve seen in years.

2. Abdul Carter, Edge, Penn State

Carter’s explosive first step and relentless motor have made him a terror coming off the edge for the Nittany Lions. The 259-pound wrecking ball leads the nation with 18 tackles for loss and has racked up eight sacks. Carter’s versatility to play standing up or with his hand in the dirt should make him an attractive option for any defensive scheme.

3. Mason Graham, DT, Michigan

At a rock-solid 320 pounds, Graham is the immovable object in the middle of Michigan’s defense. He consistently collapses the pocket with his explosive power and has the quickness to knife into the backfield against the run. Graham impacts the game in ways that don’t always show up in the box score, though his nine career sacks are nothing to scoff at.

“This 2025 class has a chance to be really special. The depth of talent at premium positions like quarterback, edge rusher, and offensive tackle is remarkable. It’s still early in the process, but this group has the potential to reshape several NFL rosters in a hurry.”
